This value may be financial, it may be time, quality or something else. It could be increasing the product output through more efficient processes, expanding the product line, allowing strategic decisions to be made quicker using data analysis, and having a happier team. It could mean having more time with family, perfecting a new hobby, or getting some rest.

I love projects. It’s the start, middle and end that makes them so attractive. There is a clear deliverable, a tangible end point, a defined “we did it” (or ”we didn’t” in some cases and we learn from it). A good project, big or small, is initiated to make a change to something, to make an improvement. It’s that mix of transformational change, project delivery and seeing people’s experiences improve that makes me excited to do this work.
